If it wasn't for the fact that she'd laugh me out of the library, I'd show this insane piece of garbage to my local librarian as a "circulation booster".
Not sure which kind of circulation the animators were seeking to boost, however.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is a joke. Is it possible that such a highly respected *snicker* black media outlet could take this seriously?
Hard to tell if it's a joke or not.
If it's a joke, it's a tasteless one that reinforces every "black stereotype" in the book. If it's not, well, let's not even imagine why anyone would find it useful in inspiring kids to read.
